GoRavens We got our Dune Rubi about 3-4 weeks before you were able to order the 2015s. I was kind of kicking myself in just not waiting for a 2015. However, no Dune for 2015. We love our JKUR with saddle leather.

New winch and front bumper ordered. Also looking to pick up a full roof rack.

I see... I see... sand paper and spray on bed liner in your future.

jdwKY Love my Dune JKU! Had to paint the wheels black as soon as I got it. Now I'm saving up for new front bumper & winch. Made hooks in garage for my doors and installed a hoist for the hard top. Having doors on is for the bees!!

Went and Did It!

So the Steel Blue 2008 is gone, and is replaced by this new and improved, albeit hardly modified Dune 2014. Put Rugged Ridge Light Guards on front and back, along with a set of quick release mirrors. Took the almost new 265/70 R17 Goodyears off the 2008 and let them keep the racing slicks that were factory. Lot's of plans, plenty of things to work on, but I am very pleased at the moment. And to the person who posted to go to the dealership on the last day of the month, I owe you a cold and frosty beverage if ever our paths cross!

you may be right.. I was judging by the aftermarket badges and just a quick glance inside.. no nav., but I know that is an option.

a couple of years back there was one called sahara tan that sounds like what you are describing ..

14DuneJKUS When I was picking my jkus up from the dealer the salesman was telling me that a guy came in to trade his "Sahara" in but it turned out to be a sport ( the vin doesn't lie). Don't know if the guy thought it was or was pulling as fast one but apparently it had everything correct down to the decals on the exterior...

Anyways, so I guess Dune is a late 13 and 14 only color??? Dropped for 2015... Cool, makes ours a bit more rare lol

I chalk those up to take-offs he got from someone upgrading to, for example, Duratracs and AEV wheels.

vtwin-racing Sahara's don't automatically have matched hard top, its still an option.
Comes with soft top, hard top option, then color matched hard top..
Looks like Sahara, guy just added and removed decals to his liking.
06-27-2014 11:43 PM
14DuneJKUS I dunno. It's got all the details right except for the missing fender decal. If you look close you can see a silver hvac trim ring which would be correct for a Sahara. Don't get me wrong I don't think poser badges are ok, but maybe he/she is proud of his Sahara!

Edit: oops black hard top lol, maybe he bought a soft top Sahara?

Dwoodworker Maybe named it after his wife Sara but misspelled it. LOL

Could be, but true Saharas don't come with "Sahara" on the hood sides.

Dwoodworker Someone else had did the vinyls and when I showed my wife she wanted me to do it. So got them and also removed my stubby antenna x because it had bad reception and than cut factory antenna down shorter and epoxied minion Dave on there. Reception is good and grand kids love it.
