No that wasn´t our day...
At the weekend we had 2 damaged radiators, 2 radiator hoses, 1 axle shaft, 2 u-joints, 2 ball joints that hold the steering knuckle and many more...

|nicolas-eric||No. We pulled it to a friend on a trailer. Ad tomorrow I will drive to the baltic sea for a week or so. After that I have the time to repair the front axle. I hope that I can do it by myself.|

I'd give up one of my kids for that Unimog. I had a single cab once, got in a bind for money and sold it. I've regretted it ever since.
Have you gotten the Rubicon back on the road yet?

Es tut mir leid dieses Missgeschick zu sehen..
You know how they say -- bad luck always comes in 3's -- Let's just hope broken axle is worth 2 and means the end of it
Oh and BTW -- almost the same thing happened to my stock radiator. So I had one custom fabricated in metal. Consider that one

My Weekend :-(
On Friday we drove to an offroad park in northern Germany. After only 5 minutes there my radiator exploded...
Saturday morning a friend brought me another radiator. After lunch it was installed.
Then after about 20 minutes this happened:
Another friend brought me home because we didn´t have all tools and spare parts there to fix it.
A friends Unimog needed 3 times to get me out of the hole...
