KicknJeep As soon as I am finished putting the motor back together I'll take a few more pics ( in the garage now). The hammered paint is the Rustolium black hammer in a can from Wall Mart. here is a more recent pic.

I would like to see the final paint on this project, I am redoing my "85 CJ, all white with similar green for accensts, such as raised tailgate letter, hubs, some small graphics maybe...I am really interested in the hammer hood thing...thanks

KicknJeep OK gave into the power of green
and the hood with black hammered center
the bottom where it is not painted will get bed liner to match the inside and yes i know the grill is still red but that wont be for long.

ready for paint

So finished the bondo where the body panels were cut and new panels welded on and have it primed. the PO pretty much painted over the welding w/out any bondo or anything just red paint. Now i am not the best bodyman so i'm thinking instead of the sublime green I may go ahead and use bedliner inside and out. anybody have pics with theirs done like this?

and ready for paint:
another shot:
