Depending on where you purchased the rear bumper and tire carrier, you may have received some older stock. All of our new production has been switched over to the OE thread pitch studs and lug size. Please send me a PM and we will get this switched out if you prefer to have the updated model.

Guys at DV8,
I just bought the rear bumper with tire carrier after reading the post directly above this one indicating the lug stud issue would be fixed. I got it a couple days ago and the lug studs are still the wrong size.
Did I get an older production model? Will you please send me a new spare bracket with the correct size JK studs?
I tried using your contact form on your website but have received no response.

We sent you out a complete replacement tire carrier arm, handle, and bracket. Let us know if you need any other parts! We are more than happy to send you whatever you need. I am sorry about the problems your having. These problems are really uncommon but we want to make it right for you!
Thanks for your suggestions and comments on the product. Just an update on the tire carrier bracket. We are making sure everything from here forward uses the 1/2 inch lugs and studs just like your factory studs and lugs so there will be no more compatibility issues here.
I look forward to hearing back from you I'll call you today to follow up!

Not sure what is going on with the emails your sending but were here to help you with whatever you need!

I would like to post the front bumper I got from KO Offroad recently. It was a little damaged in shipping, but I understand going from California to South Carolina is a long trip. The paint on the corners was a little chipped off. I contacted the guys there and they really helped me out by sending me some touch up paint. They even told me how to apply it. These guys are great and I love the way this bumper looks! Winch in shipping right now as I type!

They say the Hanson skid works good with the barricade bumper. You might check that one out.

|jk fletch||I also broke the end off the lug cap adjusting the lug stud. No problem ,right, just use your other lug nuts, right? Wrong, the lugs and metric lug nuts are different size than your jeep. so don't misplace them if you have to use that spare tire.|

Fitment on the tire carrier was not all that bad as long as you have a drill to open holes up, a sander to size the plastic bushing supports for the bearing surface of the tire carrier post, a dead blow hammer to adjust the tire carrier lugs. I had to move one far enough that a broke a spot weld on the lug. (close to 1/4 of an inch). you know just your typical Jeep tools
I'll put another pic up . I don't like slamming anybody or company but i think they could have emailed me back.. Just saying

|Hbrown||Does anyone have the ko off-road rear bumper with tire carrier? If you do, how's the stability with it? Does it rattle or is it loud at all while driving?|
|07-24-2014 07:10 AM|
I have had zero issues with mine and have wired them directly into the factory fog light wires. Only thing is the LEDs are so efficient that they will stay lit for a bit while it burns down the remaining power in the wires. Usually about 30 seconds after you shut off the lights they go out.

Has anyone had any issues with flickering? Some leds have that issues.
Well I'll be wiring these up then today. I'll post a pic or so.
