Rainycity The mech maybe forgot to hook everything back up or like the morhp master said,
check the wiring, especially the ground, could have just come loose.

tim2 The float assembly is part of the fuel pump assembly in my 94 YJ. I would imagine that if the pump is replaced it is possible to damage the float assembly.

morphious yeah try and fill the tank up and see if it resets itself if that don't work go back and check the wiring and the ground

New Fuel Pump now Fuel Guage Broken

Hey all,
Had my fuel pump replaced by a mechanic, got home and now my fuel gauge doesn't work. The question for you is, can the fuel gauge get screwed up by a mechanic replacing the fuel pump?
