imowt After the smoke cleared from the column. I now have no headlights and my blinkers are messed up. The right one still works the left isnt working really. Is everything on one unit ( hazzard blinkers etc) or ar they seperate. If so how easy s it to replace this unit? & how much will it be?

Rainycity Its probably not your flasher if the hazards work.

imowt My left signal never quite worked right. when my left blinker was on, and I applied the break, it would turn solid, and stop blinking. Then when I let off the break it would continue. Unfortunately I wound up holding the turn signal down and it started smoking. Now Ihave no headlighs....ANY SUGGESTIONS?

daddyjeep Didn't someone else just have this same issue??? siince it is only the left side, check all of the wires and bulbs. There could be corrosion in one of the connections or bulb sockets.

NAVYCHIEF you can get them at all auto parts places.they are a stock item. try swapping the modules, emergency with turn signal, first. probably not your problem though.

Left turn signal doesn't flash

Alright, I'm having an issue with my turn signals that just started yesterday.

Basically, my left turn signal doesn't flash normally. The right one does fine.

If my headlights are off, and I signal to turn left, the dash indicator and the signal lights will come on and stay solid without flashing.

If I have the headlights on, the left-hand dash indicator is always on (not flashing) when I'm not signaling. When I signal to turn left, the dash indicator and exterior signaling lights flash, but they aren't in synch (the dash indicator flashes when the exterior lights are off and vice versa).

The hazards work fine, both sides blink like they should.

Right now my leading theory is that it's the turn flasher module (that's on the fuse box). If it is that, is it something I can just pick up at a NAPA/O'Reilly's/Pep Boys/Autozone or would I need to put in an order for it?

Any other theories on what's causing the problem are appreciated too.

Thanks!
