Oberst Hajj Sounds good. I should have a flexable day off next week, so I think we can make this work.

SETI1x I won't know my schedule for next week until Friday. I'll let you know, k?

Oberst Hajj Can't on Sunday, have a flight test. I should have Monday off it that works for you.

SETI1x It has been fine, thanx for asking....but it started to reoccur again yesturday. That's my concern. I have been reading that taking the stock exhaust off is a BYOTCH, but I'm willing to try. Are you avail. this Sunday?

Oberst Hajj Okay, found the one you ordered. It's a cat back system. We could easily do this at my place in about an hour I think. I've got some ramps that will lift the back of your Jeep another 7-8 inches as well.

If you want to save some bucks, I'm willing to help you install this. Maybe I'll plan on painting my stock muffler black that day too.

How's the arm?

SETI1x Well, 2" lift on 35's.

Oberst Hajj Well, don't you already have a 4" lift. lol

SETI1x Hi Keith, I've ordered the Dynomax Evolution Competition. It should be here between the 6th and the 8th. I've never replaced an exhaust without it being on a lift. I could imagine it being difficult if not.

Oberst Hajj Steve, which model exhaust did you order? Is it header back, cat back?? I've installed quite a few exhaust systems back in the car days. Perhaps we could do it at my place. No lift, but have hand and air tools if needed.

SETI1x Has anyone used Christian Brothers Automotive? I called them and they gave the most competitive price plus they were very pleasent to deal with.

SETI1x OK, got one quote. Anyone else recommend another shop or friend that does decent work for a reasonable price?

Justin04Lj Cool.
09-01-2013 12:24 PM
SETI1x ok, thanx Justin...that's a start. I'll call him tomorrow and get a quote.
09-01-2013 12:01 PM
Justin04Lj He's also in the military jeepers club or might be head of it not completely sure.
09-01-2013 12:00 PM
Justin04Lj Not sure if he does exhaust stuff or not but the guy who did my lift at R&R offroad in Colorado Springs has some great pricing on his work.

Installing a Dynomax Evo Comp

I've ordered a new exhaust and it should arrive around the 6th-13th. Does anyone have a lift and the proper tools or know of someone that does the install relatively inexpensive in the Springs?
