Funny you mention it, I never see Kumho's on the road. My only gripe is that they're directional.... Where are you in SC..? I'm in Fort Mill...

Thanks. I went through a chrome phase so couldn't pick btwn the chrome or black Cranks, so I settled btwn the two and got the machined; $750 for the five. Lemme' know what you end up with... The Ballistics are pretty sick.

Thanks!

I used break caliper paint. Rear is red because of the red Rubi shocks. But I put tape in the jeep emblem, left it black for contrast. Front is the black but I painted the jeep emblem red for some contrast. Haven't installed front yet....

I get you and you are right. I sold my Rubi rails and put the Mopar step because of the kids. And the kids use that every time. However in a trail, I went over a rock and the rock took the running board and bent it, I was able to put it back, brackets didn't break, but the screw pulled out. So I'm thinking I need more protection but cannot spend $800 for the other ones I have seen.

I'm going to now consider those steps. I want to get them soon too.

Thanks so much for sharing. If you get them before me, let me know how the installation goes. Good luck with the rest of the stuff! 😃

ThT blue looks really good. Thats the color I was shooting for but they wouldn't go to a price I could afford. Thumbs up!

Let me know if this does work though, and I might press the dealer to fix mine.
They said the lift mechanism really was buggered and replaced it.
Got the driver's Trek seat cover on. Was stoked until I went in the house and saw the dang lumbar bladder on the sofa.
I wish I could leave the headrests off. Reminds me of my old Mustang seats, and my kid can see out the front.

going to shoot them with polyurethane mineral gray metalic. same color many JKs have in the center section and grills. Three color coats and three to four clear poly coats. Going on my wife's True Blue Pearl Oscar Mike. Yea I know they will get tore up, but we will have pictures....

Actually that paint system repairs well and I will have a pint or so left over....annual touch ups

No heavy rock crawling, but gives some piece of mind to me. Plus, the kids need side steps, especially with as snowy and icy as it gets up here.
