Slickbr Must be throwing me for a loop as I replaced the pressure sensor about 2000 miles ago and was used to it reading between 30 - 50 all the time. A Jeeper friend of mine recommended I replace the sending unit as pressure was hanging out @ 60psi.

Thanks for the info.

Oil Pressure issues

OK, here's the deal.

94 I-6 4.0 Litre, running w/ Mobil 1 synthetic, it's got about 115,000 miles. New rear main seal, recent oil change. The oil pressure sensor is new about 2000 miles ago, yet it reads 60-70 psi @ start up. If I let it warm up it still runs about 60 psi, after warm up the low end is 40 and the high is 60 or so.
I've tried restarting it after warm up, and sometimes it returns to normal readings of 30 to 50 during the course of driving.

I need some leads to follow, has anyone run into this problem?

Cheers,

Brando
