joe buell I just got the recall notice on the trans cooler line for my 2012 last week but parts not available right now but it said they would call when they come in .

peanut09 Any dealer will be able to work on it and cover the warranty. Go to the dealer that is closer to you.

Smike Your post reminded me about a recall notice I received last week. There is an issue on some '12 and '13 models with the trans cooler. You might want to ask about that while you have it at the dealer.

2013 Wrangler Transmission issue and dealer question

I bought my Unlimited in Feb. It now has 6,500 miles. The auto transmisison has an issue shifting from 3rd to 4th. It will surge and then catch...bounces me around when it catches and shifts...very annoying...just started and getting worse. Then, today I was manually shifting and it got stuck in 3rd...I had to stop the car and re start it to get it to go back to normal.

I called the dealer where I bought it and they are getting me in next week...BUT, do I have to go to that dealer..is it best to go to the dealer you bought it from? He said they dont have courtesy cars, Chrysler does not give out many of them for warranty work...I'm a little annoyed as I have to take my kid to school, go to work, etc.

There is a dealer a lot closer to my house which will shuttle me no problem...should I just go there...does it really matter which one you go to for warranty work?
