Son of Siam Hey Kevin,

Nope not yet. I need an excuse to do anything. So a planned trip makes me want to get stuff straight. Not that I don't think about it all the time.

I cant believe the summer is in full swing and we dont have a trip planned. I feel like we are behind. Any dates you want to throw out to get the discussion started?

Unfortunately August is out for me. I have to move my gym by the end of the month to our new location.

I know its a ways off but I am probably looking at late September. First weekend (4th) is Labor day. Second weekend (10th) will more than likely be my Grand Opening of the new gym. Third weekend (17th) we have fights planned.

So... I am in for September 24th or 25th.

Appauldd Can any of you advise me of some good "stores" and/or jeep junk yards? My YJ needs some love. I have several stock items in need of replacement.

Appauldd Newb to the Jeep community. Name is Paul. I have a bone stock 93 YJ that has all the fixings soon to be sitting in the garage eagerly awaiting my return from the land of sand. I would like to have an opportunity to stretch its soon to be new legs once I finish the build.

I am putting in a RC 4", Boomerang shackles, Power steering, Rock sliders, New top, Fender flares, 33s, and the list goes on and on and on.

The Jeep is my new project since my 03 Mitsu Evo is built to the hilt.

I look forward to getting the chance to meet up with you all......next fall : (

Paul

Nogear So, did anything come of this "Meet and Greet"? I'm in Campbell County on 16 miles from the 491 park. Drove by it yesterday and it's still open.

RAGMAN
Wheelin Time

Saturday the 12

491 south

im open to where to meet and what time..

they open around 9am.

for rigs in N.Ky maybe we can meet at flyin J truckstop off of 75 South..

directions to the off road park are

North and South - Take I75 to exit 166 Crittenden turn left (coming south) or trun right (coming north) and go to the stop light where you can only go left or right. Take a RIGHT and go about a mile or so and take a left on 491. You will need to cross the train tracks and then just go straight (you will be on 491 then). Head about 6 miles or so and its on the left, its a big open area with a big brownish gray building that says "491 off road park".

Once you pass the big john deere dealership its about 5 minutes on your left.

anyone interested, lets plan to meet at the truck stop (flyin J's)
around 10am ish.. or im open to a different time if it will accomodate more.

if you plan on going, its $15 per person for the park, you must drive your rig in, they do not allow trailored vehicles.

heres their website:

Nothing has been planned yet... but I don't see why we could not get something together. How does sometime in late Aug or early Sept work? Where at?

If you know anyone, let them know about me. I'm looking to spend around 4500 more or less.

Thanks,
