soundline Just watch for staters as you come around the last corner before the park or coming right out of the park. They like to hide there. Got me 2x...

You should also try Hwy 12 sometime. It's a really cool drive and there's a ski resort at the top. The other way is I-90 and it's alright. Ski resort up there too, but it's an interstate, not like the hwys so it's all more commercial.

montgomery7361 yeah we took 410 up there the views were AWESOME! almost crashed taking pictures lol.. and it took me like 2 and a half maybe 3 hours to get there so it wasn't to bad.. well worth the trip.

soundline Well according to google maps it's just over three hours, but I've made it in less. However the drive is really cool if you take Hwy 410. It's closed in November due to snow, but it's good to go for about 5 months outta the year. It takes your right through Rainer National Park. There's not really any 4x trails there, but the scenery is beautiful and it's a straight shot. It takes as long as the interstate because the speed limit drops down to 20 mph in parts of the park.

I drove from Lakewood to Naches every weekend for 4 years when I was stationed at McChord AFB. So when I got out, I just moved right next door to Selah. Now I drive 1/10th of a mile and I'm on state land setup for trails... Much better than urban jeeping.
