Thanks Texapple, I hate tests and always seem to do poorly on them. Or maybe it's just because our U.S. History teacher is insane and puts the most ridiculous questions on there.

amy My daughter was born in the jacuzzi in our back yard.
The jacuzzi was cleaned thoroughly afterwards!

the only thing i cant figure out is this...my chem class i have to take to be a power engineer, the tests all semester are slotted for 50 minutes almost all of them took over an hour, so this morning at 745 i walk in to the final i get the test right at 8 and walk out at 830...when we have 2 hours he gives us a test that is 1/2 a regular test and when we have 50 minutes he makes them longer, DAMMIT MAKE YOUR MIND UP
It can work both ways. I had an International Finance class that I had pretty much aced. Final project was to move a corporation from one country to another and setup business utilizing all current (At that time) tax laws, regs, guidelines to get your product rolling out the door in the shortest amount of time. I thought it was going to be interesting, but a pain in the ass at the same time. Prof comes up to me at the end of the class and says that there is no reason for me to do the final as it won't help my grade any as I have an A already. That was the quickest OKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY I've ever blurted out.

Well, formal poetry with beat and meter is much different than free form prose I guess. While I find that the way it reads out loud is important, I don't like strict rules and I'm not a fan of forced rhymes in poems.

One of the things that I learned first off getting an art degree was that I had to follow the rules before I could cut my own path. Grades first, nurture creativity later and on my own time. It was a good lesson because it works with my buisiness more than not. I have to make what sells, not what feeds my soul.

Some teachers however are just hardnoses and impossible to deal with. Usually it's a stick wedged firmly.

Yeh I Work full time, Its a pain to try to juggle that. I told one that there was no way I was going to give up 10 years of seniority just to take a test for someone not willing to work with a fellow human being. Nice thing with the college I and OC are at. We take all our test 2 days a week and they can be taken from 0900-2000 on those two days. I guess its their way to work around people like me that return to school after years of being in the work force.

Good luck on your test, I use to love Chem, and was thinking of taking a refresher coarse one of these days.

lol I feel your frustration. I have had some really crazy professors. Some of the tests can be so frustrating! I'm not looking forward to my final Spanish exam next week because the tests are typed with a typewriter and so the words are jumbled and spaced weird all the time. It's very confusing :/

amerijeep Nope. She matched it pretty close to my YJ color. I didn't care if it matched or not, but I feel pretty special that she put all that extra effort into making it. Of course, she has done the same for all. It's super nice. Yall all need to have at least one.
