T-BONE N BIXBY Are you guys talking about little hitch pins? If so, I found the passenger side hitch pin laying in the floorboard this evening. I still don't understand how it comes out, but that's ok....didnt spend alot of time trying.
I'm taking my top off the jeep when I get down to the shop that's going to tint the windows anyway.
I got my cragar soft 8's from UPS today...taking it in saturday to get em put on. Can't wait!!

K.C.'sJeep Yeah I don't have the clips either, they got lost somewhere along the way.

mudslinger150 if you have the clips on the seat to prevent it from shifting i would take them out and throw them in the garbage it will cut in to your 10 sec. seat removal time.

05GT-O.C.D. Yup - flip forward, push to one side. It's actually kinda scary how easily it comes out. Makes you wonder about how it would do in an accident.

woods453 Mine has pins on each side that hold it in place. You'll wanna check to see if yours has them before you try to pull it out of there.

T-BONE N BIXBY I'll give it a shot. I don't think my back seat is the original that came with the jeep....the damn thing is ORANGE!!! That's right, I said ORANGE. The interior carpet is tan, the jeep exterior is patriot blue(i have black seat cover though)
I know the back of the seat folds forward, but other than that, I don't know. I guess I'll mess with it when I get home.

jwm1986 Yeah I take mine out and put it back in all the time...

Only thing that wasn't mentioned is the little clips on the front sides and prevent the seat from shifting to one side or the other... Should be obvious after you flip it up!

K.C.'sJeep Yep it's just as easy as mudslinger explains. I've got a 97 but I'm guessing yours (an 02, right?) is done the same way.

mudslinger150 simple, flip the seat all the way up and crank it to one side, it should fall out of its bracket on one side and then you can pull it out of the other side, done deal

Good Luck with it, post some pics

Removing the back seat

I'm going to remove my backseat so the people that are going to tint my windows on my hard top will have more room.
My question is....is it a pain in the a** to take out/put back in?
