whitebuffalo i had a set of geolander mud terrains in 31x10.50r15 and paid somewhere around 500-600 for them brand new. they were excellent tires

stevens243 I found those tires online for less than 180 bucks...that said $360 for 4 nearly new tires is a fairly good deal.

I'd go if: He hangs the tires, balances them and you confirm they take a balance and function correctly BEFORE you pay.

Nothing wrong with A/T tires unless you want to spend a lot of time in the rocks/mud. If you want/need some road worthiness (especially in the wet) primarily, go with A/T's.

I've had good experiences with Yokohama tires in the past too.

Geoff@Bestop No opinion on the price, but those tires are good.

epac geolander AT-S is a great tire. i work for big o tires selling these things. i pretty much have access to any tire in the market at wholesale. and i was really considering this tire for my jeep. i will tell you 80ea. is a little steep for a used tire tho. id say a more fair price might be 45-50 a piece cause they're gonna get you on the mounting too. anyway i would get this yokohama before i got a BFG A/T.

kdukes4 crap. IMO. $180 for At's? i wouldn't waste my money. that's the price for a pretty damn good MTR, there are plenty of deals out there. just have a little patience and you'll find a deal. this summmer i got 4 31x11.5's on wheels for $125. great deal to get me through the summer. for geo's, eh i wouldn't pay that. your looking at $320. not worth it, IMO. for that price head to treadwright and buy some retreads for the same price and get brand new sneakers.

Yokahama Geolander tires..Good deal?

The tire shop that is going to mount my existing Tires to my new Cragar wheels has 4 Yokahama Geolander A/T's 32x11.5's with about 80% tread left. He want's 80 bucks ea for them. Does that sound like a good deal....are the tires any good to begin with? The guy told me they are about 180 bucks, new.
