|scott1981||I agree, POR15 is not cheap but in my experience it is the only thing that works|

|kdukes4||how significant is the rust? I had it bad with mine and just did it myself this summer. POR15 is the only real way to go. if you do it this way you'll never ever have to worry about it again! the spray paint will chip and doesn't really stop the rust like POR15 does. With POR15 there's a three step process. a degreaser that gets all the junk off the metal, a metal ready which neutralizes the rust and creates an etched contact surface for the paint to adhere to and then just paint it. topcoating is optional but suggested since the por isn't UV resistant. plus the stuff adheres best to rust so all you have to do is just wire brush a little and get the flaky stuff away.|

|Ej132||Ive have used rustoleum before. its a lot cheaper and comes in a spray can you just spray. it might not be as good as others but it gets a coating on there.|

which undercoat and how?
I was told by a garage that I gotta undercoat the jeep as it has starting to rust a little bit. What should I use? Also how does it work. I get it washed and then let it dry and spray?
When I get tires next month I was thinking of asking them to spray the cans! I don't have a way to lift the jeep either.
