snwchris You should be able to remove the u-joint strap near the t-case without having to drop the t-case skid. I was able to reach mine, was a little difficult but easier then dealing with the skid.

Front Drive Shaft

What do I have to do to drive without the front drive shaft. My Jeep is my only vehicle and I have a drive shaft on order, but I don't want to have to drive a rental in the interim. Do I just remove the drive shaft or do I have to do something else. I have an 06 Rubicon manual 4.0L.
