95Jeepman I have a 1995 Jeep wrangler rio grande. with 2.5 in it. if you want that jeep to look good and be alright on gas just put a simple lift on it and a set of tires and mabey a paint job. haha. here is some pics of my jeep and it has no major mods just lift and tires. and it makes it look way way better than stock. and you can get a good 4 inch suspension lift for around 650 for everything. (thats shocks springs all the mounting hardware bushing.)

jpdocdave start reading and seeing pictures here: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f8/yj-l...ews-25156.html and keep searching around about the lifts, the sky is the limit, and there's a million things in between

mrcarcrazy Wow, what a steal! You made out like a bandit! Good job on that one!

Definitely read up before you start buying parts(I have been reading for 3 months, and its saved me a lot of cash on mods I might have done.) Figure out what you want to do with your new Jeep, to avoid buying things 2 and 3 times.

You started out in the Jeep better than 99% of other buyers, so you get a gold star for that.

Martic8703 30inches and no problems? How much will my mpg be affected by that. I do have a 4-cylinder version as well. How much does an average lift cost? Any good sites that explain a lot of wrangler noobie questions?

jpdocdave welcome, and you got the deal of a century. very cool

you can put 30" tires on it now, take your time and see what you like.

1995 Jeep Wrangler

Hey guys... I just bought this Jeep Wrangler about a year ago for... can you guess? $500!! It was from a guy who was getting rid of it (buying a sports car) and he was a close friend of my family. It does have 150k miles on it though. I basically have no clue what to do with my Jeep. I know I want bigger tires as anyone out there wants but I do not know what and how to do anything. I I have a stock Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande 1995. I do not think there is a lift on it but then again how and what do I know!?!. Here are some pictures. I wanted some help. I know lifts are very expensive so I am wondering how big of tires can I get without hurting my jeep in the long run and not getting a lift on it.
