4Jeepn Well if you take it offroad, you may want to consider a new rear axle if you have the stock dana 35. It does not like big tires.. as for gears.. Avg. gears for 35's are 4.56's a lot will depend on engine tranny etc.. Also plan to upgrade the steering at some point, brakes as well.

Big Tires and New Gearing??

Hello everyone, I've got my 89' Wrangler on 33's with stock axles and other drive line stuff. I'd like to move up to 35's but I was told that I'd have to upgrade my gearing. (which I have no Idea how to do) Do any of you guys have any tips on what would need upgrading to ensure I can get the 35's and actually be able to move?
