Schmo Just throwing this out there . . . no idea if this would work as I haven't gone down and looked at it . . . does it feel like the screws are in all the way and blocked on the back so they can't go any farther . . . if so, would removing the screws and placing a washer under help give you that extra bit of tension you need?

COyj Took a look this morning at what you were saying Schmo only problem is the screws on the underside of the mirrors are tightened as much as physically possible... So does anyone know if factory 03-06 TJ side mirrors work on a YJ? Is the both pattern different?

Good idea to do the one next to the door first since you will need to cock the mirror out to get the right angle on the screw.

COyj Ok I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

NAVYCHIEF look under the rubber boot. there may be a tightening nut there. i saw this addressed a while back on another thread.

NAVYCHIEF There is a way to tighten up the mirrors. Some one will come along and explain.

Side Mirrors

Wondering if anyone else has had any problems with their side mirrors moving from where you put them. I know it might sounds strange, but it happens. Im guessing its due to closing the doors to "hard"... So I started looking into different side mirrors and I found the HighRock 4X4™ 03-06 Factory Styling Replacement Mirrors on Quadratec and from what I can tell they are nothing more then just the factory mirrors. My question is are they actually the same mirrors or is the bracket used to mount them different? Anyone currently running these mirrors by HighRock 4x4? If anyone knows anything about this topic can you explain? Pictures?
