Outside of going up to Gray Rock (North AL) most of my wheeling is local. I've loved it the few times I've been. There's something for everybody, stock to fully built rigs.(nice trails, mud, rocks) I've been on a weekend ride and a private ride there...both were worth the drive.

Gray Rock ORV - Home

BTW those on the blue crawler were new 54" Boggers...He tore up his running gear before the weekend was over.

Made it down to Gray Rock yet? That's Tim Cameron's buggy on the right isn't it?

Thought I'd share a couple from a ride a while back...first one is me in the mud at Gray Rock. The rest are pics from that weekend.

APPSTATEwrangler well i live about 15 min from the tenn/nc border and have wanted to venture out over there sometime and check out some trails.

AdventureMyk Depends on what parts and where you want to go. Mine's mostly stock (30" tires otherwise stock with open diffs). I've gone most places I care to venture without getting into the lockers and such, but with the D30/D35 I don't think lockers are a good idea up there...

There are quite a few different levels of trails but it really depends on the weather and how many ATV Jamborees they have had as to what the conditions are at any given time.

APPSTATEwrangler how much damage will windrock do to a close to stock jeep, like mine (see sig)??? i want to make a trip down there in the spring, but dont want to hit anything crazy.

AdventureMyk Ahh... you hail from Polk County where they consider Croom and Ocala off-roading! (well, 400 miles of whoop de doo's that will certainly give your shocks a workout). Come on up and we'll bring the camera's! (I lived in Gainesville and Tampa. Lots of miles on those trails on dirtbikes and dualsports!)
