amy I grew up in NW Oregon. We have a monsoon season (all year except summer) and freezing rain/black ice in the winter. No fun at all.

Dare2BSquare We are having monsoon here. Supposed to get over 5 inches OF RAIN over the next three days. I am just glad it's NOT colder. It usually falls as freezing rain/ice here. You can't drive on that stuff no matter where you are from!!!

Well, since you asked for it...

The brown looking dots in the water are a flock of Canada Geese.

Fresh snow and the only tracks, before mine, were Deer tracks. They were all over the place.

The road less traveled.

Yeah man, I agree. It's been like 60 all friggin winter here. But that's my fault, I got a job plowing snow if it ever happens, so we won't get ANYTHING this year prolly.

amy We just got a fresh dusting of snow last night. Ended up with maybe an inch or two. I went out taking pictures today. If I can get the pics to download, I'll post a couple.

tiny terror Two years ago we got a dusting and they called it a snow storm. Nearly shut the place down.

Your snow run might be akin to the days when we made our first snowmen of the year by rolling up half the dirt in the yard with the pitiful amount of snow we got.

But have fun
