|punkafi888||i did notice a fairly big diffrence in the steering after i left my track bar discod i think its cause of the crappy inverted y steering all jeeps have.|

|beemerhead||Thanks for the replies. Removing the rear trac bar gave the rear end a tad more flex and a little softer ride. Haven't been in the dirt since I took off the front, but I can feel that it is softer in the front on the street. Looking forward to seeing how much more flex the front has. Before, the whole thing was so rigid that it would balance on 2 wheels on the slightest bump.|

|punkafi888||i use the jks telescoping track bar. just disco it. and i completely got rid of my sway bar. did not notice much of a difference while driving.|

technically yes, and you will notice a little more difference in handling. the rear should go absolutely. it also puts a little more stress on the springs, as the trac bar limits side to side movement, now the only thing doing that is the springs.
many people ditch them both and love it. on a daily driver, i'd probably keep the front. but like i said, many yj owners threw them both away and drive them daily.

trac bar dumb question
Took the rear trac bar off and liked the results. Tonight I tore into the front track bar, and got it off in one piece! Now, as an after thought, I'm wondering if having the front trac bar off will put stress on the sway bar. What do you guys think?
