|bigkahuna333||what is the total time to install a 1.25" BL for someone who has never done it? Handy with a wrench but never installed a lift.|

|morphious||well if cash is a prob. i'v heard of two junkyard ways of doing this one hockey pucks, literally drill out the center and use as spacers. and i heard of skateboard wheels working too but hockey pucks are a real redneck way to go. and i dont necessarily recommend it but it has worked, i know of a guy down the street from me who did it and didn't have and probs with them.|

When you install 1.25" drop brackets with a 1.25" BL you donīt have to trim the shrould.

you only have to install 4 radiator drop bracket like this ones on the pic below. but itīs annoying.
if you have A/C you also have to cut away a bit at the passenger side from the radiator housing because the A/C lines wouldnīt fit after the radiator drop.

If you install a 1.25" BL and a 1" MML you donīt need to drop the radiator and the fan shrould. That saves about 1 hour. And with a 1" MML you rear TC angle is better. If you have a 2-3" lift and a TC drop you can probably get rid of the TC drop.
I have a 2" BL and thatīs much more work.

1.25" or 2" Body Lift
OK I have made up my mind and no one can sway me try as you might!
With my limited budget and current unemployment I have no other choice than to buy a body lift until June or July.
Now the debate.Should I get the 2" or the 1 1/4" lift?
It seems that it is more work to put the 2" in but its only $15 more!
The 1 1/4" also seem good and it seems like it would be less work to put in than the 2".
Now can someone who has put on a 2" body lift chime in and tell me what I would have to do? Do I need to lower the radiator? Do I need to add the shifter extension? Will I need to trim the floor? The steering setup?The fuel filler?
If someone with a 2" and someone with a 1 1/4" could answer these questions for me I would greatly appreciate it.(And you can finally get me to shut up)
