|wscotterwin||Thanks, I kinda figured that. Is there any other lifts around the four inch mark I should be lookin at? Is a 1" body lift worth the effort?|

|crafty||Go with Rubicon!!!! I used to bash Rough Country all the time from my experience with a 4" lift. They fixed the problem with the springs going flat before their time. NOT!! A friend recently gave them a try and is taking pictures and submitting info to Rough County because his springs are going down. This is the second person in our club having issues with their new design. Please measure your bumper height and keep an eye on it. Catch a minor issue before it becomes a major issue.|

|Jeep Guy||i also did a 4 inch rc lift kit on my yj, but if you wanna go for the best lift kit out of them both i would get the rubicon because it might be more reliable than the rough country kit. if u have the money for the rubicon i would go for it but if your on a tight buget i would go with the rc lift. the rubicon might be better if u rock crawl to just because i think that the rc lift wont last long if u rock crawl with it. u get what u pay for i guess.|

|southernculture||I just got done with the rough country lift and I like it. If you get it get an upgraded steering stabalizer. I took it in the mud the other day, but not over any rocks. I did climb it up an embankment in front of my house and had good flex. I fit 33's and have no rubbing what soever.|

Which lift? Rubicon or Rough Country?
I am trying to decide between the Rubicon 4.5 Extreme lift or the Rough Country 4" lift. Big price difference and I know the Rubicon has more features but how about the ride and performance. I am planning also on adding an Advanced Adaptor SYE with Teralow. All I really do is rock crawling.
My jeep: '93, 6cyl, 4.56 gears with lockers front and back, 32" tires
