Go bigger and regear!
I love my jeep with the 35's and 5.13 gears, it is really alive now. So much more enjoyable to drive, than it was stock.

what a tuff call, id really like some 35's, would make my jeep look much better, plus get me off the ground alittle higher than my 33's, however to regear, thats gonna cost me another grand at the least.. stuck between a rock and hard spot now??

|Ironman||I had 35's with 4.88's and it worked awesome. My smog guy also told me that this combo put me right in the middle of the smog numbers.|

|MR.CLIFFORD||There are lots of reason it was bad. Slow off the line, slow on the highway. No passing power. Under geared when you get in the rocks. Excessive wear on components you don't normally think about like your transmission and clutch. You don't have to regear. But it will have the power band like it did when stock.|

3.73's and 35's???
Just curious if putting 35's on my jeep with this gearing
(3.73's) combo would be pushing it, i have the 4.0 but not sure if it would be a dog and be very hard to get up to speed, i have 33's now and its runs great, pushes them just fine. I have a 4" lift and soon will have a 1.25 BL and a 1" mml so clearance is not an issue.. thanks in advance,
