Levinoss I still have mud on the inside of my cab from the first time I went off road in it. Just a little bit that keeps avoiding the cleaning so I guess it can stay.

Custom 350 It did overheat because the radiator was caked. I cleaned the front of the radiator... little did i know that the aircon radiator sits in front.

The wheel is on the wrong side cause i live in South Africa. only RHD's here.

mudslinger150 if you cake your radiator with mud you will overheat. Its always a good idea to carry some bottled water or something with you to pour down your radiator front to get the mud out and off. This will prevent and overheating issue.

Mud in Cab = good day

adkjoe All I can say is congratz, mud in the cab is a badge of honor, that's what the drain plugs are for and that's one of the reasons the doors come off, you will be fine. On the overheating i'm not sure, can't help ya there.

Mud In Cab, Good or Bad?

Hi All

I was out jeepin the other week end and drove through a mud hole.

I got some mud inside the vehicle.

U cant really tell from the first pic... but my doors were off!

ok, so i got a lot of mud inside the vehicle, those drain plugs really do come in handy.

Is it bad to get mud inside the cab of a TJ?
Havent had any problems even after i washed it inside with a hosepipe.
Just dont know if it is ok, or if im lucky

after going through the mud hole, on my way home the jeep overheated and blew the waterpump. a couple pully's were damaged aswell. how tuff are the 4.0L motor's? can they take a little overheating. the motor seems fine so far.
