Oldfart the online instructions say you have to trim the hole in the floor that the shifter comes up through. If you don't want to cut the floor it says you can take the shifter off and heat it with a torch and put a slight bend in it to clear the floor in 2,3,and r

It has to done from the top. Remove the rubber boot and see if its just some of the plastic that can be trimmed first.

4point You may have to trim the floor a little where the shift lever is contacting it. Also check your 4WD Lo-range to make sure it doesn't pop out. That you can adjust. If you are doing the SYE right away none of this will be necessary.

Installed: RC 3.25" lift (had BL) pops out of 2nd

Herro,

I installed my RC 3.25" lift lastnight! I am very pleased with the outcome! As i expected, i took it down the road to see if i had any vibes w/out the t-case lowering kit, and i did. So i put in the t-case lowering kit and now my shift pattern favors 1st 3rd and 5th gear. It goes into 2nd 4th and R but very little, just enough to grab, makes it a little tuff to downshift in 2nd.

So would a MML fix this issue?

or some kind of lowering linkage?

Or can i expect it to be this way until i get a sye/cv and suck the belly back up?
