|Oldfart||the online instructions say you have to trim the hole in the floor that the shifter comes up through. If you don't want to cut the floor it says you can take the shifter off and heat it with a torch and put a slight bend in it to clear the floor in 2,3,and r|

i wont be doing the SYE soon, it looks to me the contact point for the shifter is the plastic center console. I can trim the inner lip about 1/8" it might be just enough to make the difference.
I can trim the floor? do i do it from up top or from below?

|4point||You may have to trim the floor a little where the shift lever is contacting it. Also check your 4WD Lo-range to make sure it doesn't pop out. That you can adjust. If you are doing the SYE right away none of this will be necessary.|

Installed: RC 3.25" lift (had BL) pops out of 2nd
I installed my RC 3.25" lift lastnight! I am very pleased with the outcome! As i expected, i took it down the road to see if i had any vibes w/out the t-case lowering kit, and i did. So i put in the t-case lowering kit and now my shift pattern favors 1st 3rd and 5th gear. It goes into 2nd 4th and R but very little, just enough to grab, makes it a little tuff to downshift in 2nd.
So would a MML fix this issue?
or some kind of lowering linkage?
Or can i expect it to be this way until i get a sye/cv and suck the belly back up?
