MLS is a startup league....Hell its only been around since 1996. While some teams in other countries have been around over 100 years. The MLS is getting better, they are starting to bring good players into the leauge. I remember watching Ibrahimovic playing against DC United....I was beside myself.

I enjoy watching the MLS as long as I am at the stadium, its a great time. As far as on TV I would rather watch any of the European leagues.

Though the last two weeks it has been hard watching CFC grop points to and no longer in the title race.....oh well at least we have two more CL matches.

I'm game. Just keep us posted when we need to start putting together our squads.

If you do get to Columbus, the northeast corner is the REAL fan section. Nordecke! Do a google search (images too). No snoozing near this section!

on a side note...if you sit in the top row in the northwest corner, there is a beer cart immediately behind you on the concourse. You may not have to get out of your seat to get a cold one ...er uh so I've been told.

BT i would love to see a match in portland

hurst96mcv Have not made it to Columbus, yet.

I have been to:
DC
LA
Colorado
Portland
KC
NY
Philly and London

Still working on the east

BT You haven't seen a match until you've seen one at Crew Stadium!!
03-26-2014 09:48 AM
hurst96mcv The MLS is growing, It’s a good thing talented players are coming over in their prime. Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley for example. Then getting good older players, T. Henry, Defoe, Keane and the others. If the league stops adding teams I think they will do well, it will take some time. As a DC United supporter I hate the fact that when I go to some MLS matches the atmosphere is so bad, CO Rapids for example. But them watching the Sounders, Portland and even TFC I think back and remember it all started in DC.

That's what is so frustrating about a possible Crew move. The fans are really behind the club. Nordecka (the fan section behind the north goal) is loud and rowdy, all donning the black and gold and really into the matches. Their enthusiasm permeates throughout the entire stadium. Admittedly the play is not that of the European games, but with a fan base like that, it is infectious.

Agreed. I prefer the play in the EPL but soccer is soccer. I just hope we get to keep the Crew here in Columbus.

Agreed. MLS...a lot of balls are just cleared...In the EPL, those balls go to a team mate not just into open space. Still, its the best we've got here in the states. Compared to the rest of the world, soccer is one thing we have A LOT of catching up to do! I support United in the EPL and the crew here at home, but I'll watch almost any EPL match!

Thoughts?
Barcelona v Atlético Madrid (even though I hate Barcelona)
Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund (Dortmund lost Gotze, just about to lose Lewandowski - not as good as last year)
PSG v Chelsea (Tough game but i think Paris has a strong team working well together)
Manchester United v Bayern Munich (D.Moyes fault because I'm sure with Fergusson they could have done something much better this season !!)
