I Don't Trust People

I immediately put on door hinge locks, door hinge locking screws, hood lock, wheel locks, and 50% tinted windows.

This has been a common crime in California... easy pickens.

it_felt_so_good I have a bunch of stuff acting as a deterrent on mine... Compustar alarm, tilt sensors, shock sensors, one dash camera in the front that illuminates a blinking white light, a rear dash camera that does the same, the compustar's blinking blue light, 5% tint all around, & I have 50% tint on the windshield so they can't see inside.

As for accessories on the outside I always just park far away from everybody else in parking lots. Doesn't matter if I'm at work, school, etc. I try to keep my distance but there's always that one person who parks right next to you when there are a million other spots available. Someone who really wants something is going to get it though.

But if this were to happen at home in my driveway my security system will let me know someone is outside & they'll have to answer to a 12 gauge.

Dj Captain If you bolt it on, it can get taken off. Have everything insured, and if you like where it is and dont plan on being to more it just tac weld the bolt below/to the nut.

Excactly. So if yours gets stolen just run a strait pipe. Might have emissions problems but I don't have to worry about that in my state.

enjerhoo I would be a bit more concerned about this.

But my mom had her cat stolen off of her car about 8 months ago.

Reece Capital offense? Really? Are you willing to throw the switch?

Welding Rod Never heard of it but I heard some city peoples' stories of catalytic converter theft off high ground clearance vehicles. Evidently the crack heads just Sawzall them off.

I can't imagine why the people of a state don't want this type of deliberate and thoughtful theft to be a capital offense.

m998dna I think I'd be more concerned about a thief stealing your catalitic convertor. My sister just had her's stolen off her Toyota Tundra and it cost $4K to replace.

Good luck with the theft deterrent.

Theft From Jeep???

Have any of you had anything stolen OFF of your Jeep while parked somewhere? Spare tire, jack, off-road lights, etc...

I know you can put wheel locks on, but I'm worried that someone could come along and unscrew the off-road lights or something...

I would hate to come out of a movie, only to find something missing on my Jeep.
