Steve2012 Ok, thanks. Was thinking that, just didn't want to be stuck on a Sunday with wrong bolt and not be able to put it back together.

It isn't a special bolt. Home depot or lowes and some grade 8 hardware. That's what I did year ago and no issues.

Steve2012 Been fighting a rear lower shock bolt for about 2 weeks, pb blasting about 3 times a week. Of course that's the shock that is actually busted. About to just order the nut and bolt and cut it off, done with it.

Yes that is one of the worst things that can happen! Makes an hour long project a 6 hour project!!

X2, I used a 1/2 breaker bar with a 2 foot cheater pipe,, still those lower control arm axle bolts were fused to the bushing. No amount of air, or cheater bar force could break them loose.. Had to cut them.. as the rubber just acted like a big spring...

My best advise? Drink plenty of brew, that way when a control arm bolt gives you a problem, you'll be more inclined to attack it with your sawsall immediately, instead of arguing with it.. .

Alright gentlemen, its been almost 10 months since I first logged on here and started doing research, the amount of information I have learned on this sight is vast and it is also greatly appreciated! (give yourselves a pat on the back) Anyway, I'm going to instal my lift tomorrow with the help of a couple of friends (none of which have worked on jeeps or cars, including me) but i'm feeling confident.

I'm going up 3 inches, springs, shocks, front and rear track bar, and all 8 control arms, and dropping the tcase till i can get an sye. Pointers, advice anything that might make this a little easier, or if your free in so cal tomorrow morning and want to lend a hand

There will be beer
