abw0004 For those that ran the wire through the bottom of the windshield, did the car leak afterwards?

I ran mine very similar to this but behind the winshield hinge and under the cowl from there. Can't see the wires after the hinge. Really nice and clean.

The windshield wiper plate is the way to go. Cleanest install and you don't have to ruin anything to do it.

bluvikng You can also run the wires through the plate that your windshield wipers come out of. Just remove the plate, and do your wiring. Replace the plate, keeping your wires side by side, which presses them into the rubber molding. No drilling, no grinding, and very simple. I also used about a foot long piece of wire, with one end sharpened, to make a hole in one of the rubber boots, through the firewall. If you tape your wires to the end of the rod, you can pull them through, easily.

Unlimited I ground out a small area on each side of the lip on the cowling and ran the wires through there and then down into the engine compartment. I'll get some pics up later today.
