NeitherFanboy Dang, the Wildboar tops look great! Would love one for my Wrangler, but they seem to only make tops that fit 07 and newer ... no love for my 1999 from Wildboar!

Geoff@Bestop Timberman: Another option may be to wait a bit. I think - but don't know for certain - that the Mopar situation will sort itself out.

There was a ton of chaos in the automotive supplier business this year, but it's sorting itself out now.

I'd guess the new guys are not set up to sell to aftermarket. A lot of suppliers just want to deal with the car manufacturer -- I think the Bestop is the only company in the Magna stable that sells aftermarket, for example.

I haven't seen this Wildboar product. I'll have to check it out.

The only complaints I've ever really heard about our hardtops are price, expensive shipping, and damage in shipping. If you get one, make sure to check it out carefully before the truck driver leaves.

I usually suggest used as a viable option for hardtops. Partly because it pisses off my boss, and partly because they are pretty pricey. But I don't think that's a viable option with a 2009.
Hi Geoff, but you are incorrect sir.. I actually tried to order a 2010 with dual tops, but was unable.. This may have changed in the last couple of months, but when I bought in August, this wasn't an option.. I luckily found a Sahara here in Oregon under the impression that I would be able to buy Mopar top from 4wheelparts (which I have about had it with). Well, that is what I get for trusting 4wheel parts I suppose.. I am now stuck with either your top (which I am not completely excited about due to the lack of a rear wiper) or the Wild Boar which are very cool, but more money that yours.

The Wild Boar is all fiberglass where yours is Injection molded (I believe), so the price increase is somewhat justified..

My dilemma continues!!!!

CruserBruiser Bestop makes a quality product and you usually want go wrong with any of there products... However this wildboar top is freaking sick and I want one now!!! I have been seeing them in pics all over the net but I thought it was just a custom job or something.

Aftermarket Hard Tops?

Greetings all!

Well, my quest to purchase a Mopar Hard Top has ended today.. Apparently, these tops are no longer being produced and are on industry-wide back order status.

It appears that my only two options are going to be the Bestop 2 piece hard top and another hard top manufacturer I stumbled upon called Wild Boar Hard Tops..

Does anyone have any experience with either the bestop or wildboar. I think the Wildboar Fastback top looks really cool, but I know very little about the company.. Bestop is a quality manufacturer (or importer for the most part), so I am confident that I will get a good product from them.

Any input or experience would be most helpful.. Also, if anyone knows where i can score a Factory hard top for a 2009 Unlimited Sahara, I would be most appreciative!!
