The tires are 33' nitto extremes, which are a hardcore offroad tire (worth 1200+ new), 2000 w/ 75k for 8G's is a pretty good deal I'd say.

If i stick with those rims, which i'll probably have to do for the time being, I was thinking some BFG A/T's I want 31's for the mileage but i'm afraid 31's will look tacky with that lift so I'm contemplating 32's if I keep the lift.

I almost bought a yellow wrangler that had these wheels once and it looked pretty sweet.

Damn good idea, I was planning on selling the tires anyway cause their pretty new and worth some serious coin, I kind of like the rims though, but I wanna eventually put these on it.

As much as I wanna keep em, it's gonna be my daily driver, so I want a more road friendly tire, so I wanna get some A/T's perferrably 31's i'm just wondering if 17' wheels would fit on 31's?

s3nt3nc3d They're 18-20's...pretty sure.

I used to a program us reptile folks use to measure snakes without having to hold the snake steady while measuring it. According to it, it's roughly 19.3"...so I'd say 18-20 for sure. I'm leaning toward 20's the more I play with it...

Not bad man, pretty damn good price if it runs good i'd say...

I'm just lookin for a good deal on something with under 90k on it.
I found a 2005 hardtop with only 40k on it for around $11k but its a 6 speed and I recently had surgery on my right shoulder so I dont think it would be a wise decison to buy it, besides it doesnt have A/C or cruise control

Matzner21 I dont think there 20's... I'm guessing 17's... It runs great, has a 6cy auto, tires just make it loud when driving, I'm thinking about putting 31's on it, do u guys think it would look weird with 31's and that lift? Asking around $10,000
10-27-2009 07:43 PM
motokeen Now the pics show up. Yeah those are bigger than stock lol.
10-27-2009 07:38 PM
Geo or maybe 18's, definately either 18 or 20
10-27-2009 07:38 PM
jdub2k5 anyone can put on a lift, make sure its done right and have a mechanic check it out

people selling jeeps can easily cover stuff up to sell them fast

Geo how much is he askin? Those look like 20's
10-27-2009 07:31 PM
motokeen How much does he want for it? And what kind of lift and condition of everything? What motor and trans? Also what gearing?
10-27-2009 07:31 PM
motokeen None of the pics show up for me. But I have a 2000 and it has 15inch rims on it. I would guess hes running 33x12.5x15 without seeing a pic.

Need advice about a 2000 TJ purchase

Looking into buying this 2000 TJ,
84,000 miles
It runs good, doesn't have cruise control though, it has 33in Nitto Extreme terrains on it, what size rims do you think those are, I'd call the guy but its late and I wanna price some BFG A/T's tonight. So what size wheels do you think they are?
