coolbreeze When you get it back, check under the carpet to make sure its completely dry. I hate the smell of mildew.

adriennecorin it was just sitting. i came out from work on tuesday when it was raining and i noticed that it was soaked. so i brought it straight to the dealers service center since they r right down the block from where i work. they took it and gave me a loaner jeep. i should have my jeep back 2mrw (thursday) i cant wait to get it back. i miss it

birdhunter I would take it back, them them to change cowl seal
windshield gasket,door seal,hardtop corners..
any seal going through firewall.
Was it just sitting or did you drive it
Keep hounding them if it stays wet(mold)
rust will start maybe years down the
road

kaycee83 lol. exactly, mine doesn't have carpet, but it's a 1990, so i just expect stuff like leaks.

motokeen Thats why you see so many jeeps without carpet.

kaycee83 I'd be pretty mad if it was brand new & leaking already!

adriennecorin yea i figured itd be a common problem. jeeps are made for crazy off roading and water. it just sucks though ahah expecially when i just got it

water leakage?

so i just picked up my brand new 2010 sahara unlimited this past saturday. yesterday, when i got to my car after work, i noticed that the drivers side floor was soaked! i know it shouldnt be like and that the rain was gettin in somehow. i brought it to westbury jeep to get checked out. they are super nice and they lent me an 09 sahara unlimited to drive until they fix it. one of the guys said that one reason is that its a hardtop, the rain water goes through channels and out but in this case one of the channels might be clogged and the water is gettin into the car. Did anyone else have a water leak problem when they first got theirs?
