^^^ That is a good site and they are fast with shipping.
Also I recommend the LuK Clutch kits for Wranglers.
Also you can pick up or order everything from most autopart stores.

Should I ask your brother?
I just miss the simple old cars. This is no big deal I've done several interal slaves. Just hate the fact designer fix what aint broken.
|10-29-2009 12:00 AM|
Dang, I guess you do learn something everyday!
Which raises the question... Does a Gay Redneck sleep with his brother?
|10-28-2009 10:30 PM|
Remove entire drivetrain......remove two 10mm bolts swap Slave Cly.,, Replace the two 10mm bolts.....Done with slave cly replacement.
Then replace entire drivetrain. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH two little bolts...Thats it!
Internal Slave cylinder "new"....

|Coyote_94YJ||$50?!?! Where did you get that kind of a deal? I want one.|
|10-22-2009 05:54 PM|
Yeah wasn't going to do it with a floor jack blocks of wood and a bunch of small rachet straps this time. lol.
For $50 I couldn't pass up the tranny jack adapter.
|10-22-2009 05:52 PM|
Ya, and how many clutch master cylinders for my jeep did we swap out at Autozone?!?!
Nice deal. Wish you would have had that when we did it the first time.
|10-22-2009 05:49 PM|
|distortedtj||Only good news from this deal....got a new floor jack and a transmission jack adapter out of the deal.|
|10-22-2009 05:45 PM|
I replaced EVERYTHING. Clutch disc/pressure plate, flywheel, pilot/throw out bearing, slave cly, master cly, clutch line and more. Every part was replaced with new.
Guess I just got a bad unit...it happens. Stinks but it happens.
Just wish companies would of stuck with external slave cylinders. So much easier.
|10-22-2009 05:41 PM|
|Coyote_94YJ||Didn't we replace that when it was out the last time or was it just the bearing.|
|10-22-2009 05:36 PM|
yep...that was/is the issue with the truck. So...out with the transmission again just to change the stupid little thing. You know how much fun that is on my truck. Pull most all the drivetrain to just get to the stupid little part that takes just two bolts and 30 seconds to change.
"the fitting on the entrance line is cracked at the housing of the slave cylinder and cracked the housing."
|10-22-2009 05:30 PM|
|Coyote_94YJ||Ya, don't say.|
