It Passed Emissions!

After a year and hundreds of hours of research and work and rebuilding (and a huge help from my dad when I couldn't help due to my work schedule), ran it through emissions and it passed with flying colors! Its been transformed from a barely running parts YJ to a running Jeep. We somehow managed to even get the rear seal right. Learned a lot doing it ourselves and saved a ton of $$.

Now comes the fun stuff, finish painting, interior, and enjoying some of the nice weather while it lasts.

The list of work we did (from what i can remember):
-Converted from MC2100/HEI back to fully stock carter bbd and all factory emissions/ignition equipment. Replaced various components of emissions system with junkyard replacements.
-New/rebuilt head (prev owner ground #6 exhaust valve seat .25 inches deep), got a head from a low mileage 4.2 and rebuilt outselves
-New timing chain/pistons/rings/cam/all gaskets
-New starter/flywheel gear ring

All said and done only spent 650 bucks, better than 2+grand for a crate engine.
