MR.CLIFFORD Put the little clip back in the window crank handle before you install it. It will pop right on.

s3nt3nc3d They make a special tool to remove those clips if you don't have anything laying around that will pop em can buy em for under $5 at most auto parts stores. Also be careful...those little clips are notorious for launching 30 feet in the air and never being seen again. lol

mikes05unlimited If you use a paint can key it comes right out. Also put the clip back on BEFORE you put the crank back on and just give it a whack with the side of your hand and it pops back on. A lot easier than trying to get it on while on your door.

steelers151 I used a thin screw driver and popped the metal clip off.

jdub2k5 it should be held on by a c clip, most window cranks are done that way

edit: it does have a c clip please don't yank her out without removing that first

G-Pur pull really hard. I don't think it's held on with anything other than plastic teeth against the grooved metal post. Mine came off when I first got it. Pushed it back on, and haven't had a problem since. It's been over a year.
