Yea, that's what I was getting at. The AEV 2.5" lift instructs you to unclamp the brake/abs lines from the coil perch. I wasn't aware 2012+ had longer lines.

I think you have a new rubicon if I remember correctly. Your stock brake line is plenty long you just need to get a terra flex brake line relocation bracket and bend the metal part of the line a bit. make sure you do something with the parking brake line and the abs sensors. on the sensors just pull the fir tree clips on the zip ties so they can hang freely. I have had mine max flexed and the brake lines have several inches of slack the parking brake cables however do not.

kjeeper10 I run Synergy's in the front.
One size fits all .. 2.5-4" I believe.

Best way is cycle the suspension. Hight/extra shock travel will determine the lengths needed.

Did you disco the lines from your coil perch ?

Fr8dawg Lets talk brake lines here....

First, trying to sort through WHICH length of brake lines I need for my 2.5" lift (2" rear). I dont want some generic extended brake line kit which most vendors have for sale. I dont want all the additional slack that a kit which is for "0-6" of lift.

Def get those arms. You won't see anymore flex per se. But less bind in the suspension. You'll be able to center the axles in the wells. The jeep should handle better too.

Yeah it's a pig. Xrc bumpers, tire carrier, winch, rubi rail ace rocker combo. Like 90 pounds of synergy steering components lol

I agree, I hate jam nuts.

My Ruff stuff uppers were a pain. Such a small joint and trying to keep it square with the front was impossible.
A 24" Crescent wench rounded the nut, so
I measured and ordered a open end wrench that fit the jam but perfectly. Along with the crescent to hold the joint and open end wrench .. I was able to tighten it real tight.

Spray all your joints with Fluid film. Great stuff ... 0 rust and lubes the Heim joints well.

Thanks Ken. Still undecided about going higher but getting tired of dragging the undercarriage of the heep over everything.

Your looking at 1"or a little more on a 2 door.
I want to say I'm just shy of 4" front and 3.75 rear with RK 2.5" coils

Fr8dawg Im running a rock krawler trackbar with jam nuts to secure the joints. Royal pain in the ass, got em as tight as i physically could, they still came loose.

I used a huge crescent wrench cause thats all i had that would fit the jam nut... Going to locktite the s$&t out of it asap...

To anyone looking at trackbars, AVOID one with jam nuts! Its not worth it. The teraflex monster trackbar is a brilliant design and ill be buying one shortly!

TopDwnWhlsUp Ken, how much extra lift did you get out of your 2.5 springs? I know you posted up before but can't find it. Looking at the 3.5 rk or 3.5 metal cloaks trying to get some kind of idea where I'll be sitting.

I just installed the Teraflex bar and didn't think I would see much of a difference. Boy was I wrong. My steering response is a million times better!

kjeeper10 You're ok as long as the tire can slip .. Even a little. The driveline is pretty stout.
You might want to look into tacking the u-joint caps. Simple mod anybody can do.

I was on a trail coming down some rocks and needed to make a tight turn (thinking back, I could have safely shifted out of 4wd for that section). Same happened going up a steep trail that had a tight turn. Trail was a mix of loose, small rocks and dirt and then sections with larger flat solid rock surfaces. Probably was on the larger solid rock surface and combined with a tight turn didn't allow for wheel slippage. Given the variable terrain every few feet, not sure I could have shifted out of 4wd and still get up that hill. Wheel & learn!

Totally normal .. That is why people go with RCV shafts. (CV joints instead of u-joints)

Never ever .. Engage 4w on dry pavement. The tires have to be able to slip or that binding can cause some major damage.
