|One Fast Mother||Love this color! It is so strange though how different it looks from one photo to the next, sometimes looking a little green or blue. Just picked it up last week and hubby got the new wheels and tires on today and I am pumped about how great it looks!|

Just to clear up a few things guys and girls, the other posts are right. Anvil looks like $h!t in photos. When my dealer told me he had one out back I told him I wasn't interested. I'd seen them online and the color wasn't for me. Well I walked out back and looked, and drove it home the next morning. The color looks 200% better in person.
I have seen an anvil jeep with Navy decals and it looks sick. It is the perfect color for navy vehicles. Makes me wish I had joined the navy! That being said it is definitely a blue. Grayish blue, pewter-ish blue, but it is definitely a blue. It is NOT battleship gray. I live 30 minutes from battleship cove, home of the USS Massachusetts and it is not even close to the WWII era color theme "#5 standard navy gray" or the later "5-D" paint scheme. The closest anvil comes is in what the navy called "measure 22 camouflage" which was used in the pacific theater between late 1942 to 1945. One of the colors in the paint scheme, for decks and super structure features was "Navy Blue" and anvil is pretty close to that.
In case you didn't notice, I really like anvil! (And reading naval history is a hobby of mine)

Those are some awesome pics/views Milkman! Happy to see you made it out there. And your rig/trailer combo is pretty badd@ss and you couldn't have a better backdrop for it. Keep Jeepin'!
