|ave8er||The only time I use 4 lo is when additional torque is needed. Most of the time off road I use 2 wheel dr when the going gets tough I use 4 hi. There is no additional wear on anything. Unless you are slipping the clutch there is no undue wear on it|

go 5 mph kick it into neutral and pull back, you have to remember a t-case doesnt have synchro's like a manual tranny does, so it isnt going to be perfect every time. if the gears arent exactly aligned where you stop, some movement will be required for a smooth shift.
I do it at 15-20 on dirt roads from time to time when I am leaving the park and realize I'm still in 4L. works even better.

|ohioviper||Like said shift it while rolling slow or you can go to reverse then neutral and it should shift easy.|

Manual or auto tranny?
If manual, try depressing the clutch once or twice while in neutral then depress fully and move out of 4L. Sometimes cycling it can help -

|JeepKing410||It doesn't always get stuck but one time it got stuck pretty bad and I pushed it about 20 yards and it finally budged. But yeah I should probably let it roll a bit and throw it into N and quickly shift out of 4 LO. My friends actually got stuck in 4 LO and he had to drive it to the dealership 5 miles away. They fixed the problem luckily. Thanks guys!|

|Raidan||Are you trying to shift it out of 4lo from a stop? Get it rolling (book say 2-5mph in and out), sift into N and shift out of 4lo|

4WD Low gets stuck
I use 4 HI most of the time offroad mainly due to 4 LO getting stuck. Does anyone have the issue of shifting out of 4LO on the JK's? I have and 07 JKU. It sometimes sticks in 4 LO and I have to get out the jeep and push the Jeep (in neutral of course) a little and then try and pull it out of 4 LO.
