|Beastmaster||I have a couple of events coming up (Nam-Jam concert for Veterans as well as the Veteran's Day parade) so I'll try to get some pics of mine (and other's) afterwards.|

Thanks for all the good words guys
I still find myself saying to myself "Hey, I have a WWII Jeep" when I go to my garage.

Amazing pictures! Your Jeep looks right at home.
Makes me anxious to get to redoing the body tub on mine so it looks right.
Just put on all new brakes wheel bearings and races, so the mechanicals are nearly done. Your pics are inspiration for me to continue with enthusiasm.

Wow you really turned this MB around quick. Gives me inspiration for mine!
The pic on page 1 with all the original holes is great, less money I have to spend on Jeepdraw Mine has a million useless holes.

Took my Willys to a fund raising event the other day they called the "GI Jubilee".
It was for an organization called Honor Flight. They raise money to send WWII vets to Washington DC to visit the WWII memorial as well as other sites.
Folks dressed up in 1940s attire (especially the vets) and they had a whole show with big band music, singers, etc..
Here are some pics taken by a photographer for the event.
The first is on of our group, the second is one of the "Cigarette Girls" that were at the event. And the rest are some artistic shots of my Jeep.
It was pretty cool, the cigarette girls were walking around with trays of candy cigarettes and bubble gum cigars and selling them for donations.

Them picts are so cool. Outstanding JOB. My first jeep was a Korean War era jeep. Many a time over the years I have wished that I had done what you have. I can't even imagine the research you've had to do to get it right.
The only thing I had done to mine was light cosmetic work and just enough mechanical work to get it to run good. (Plus I had to get rid of all the "ARMY" stuff and convert it over to "Marine" Stuff. LOL). I later donated it to the local VFW where I lived then.
Thanks again for the picts.

You have 2 green jeeps, I have 2 yellow :-) One old, one new. Pretty cool!
Hope you can keep posting pics as time goes on with any other mods/projects you do, they are worth all of us ogling over!

Oh, I've been meaning to post my latest restoration project. I have an old wheel barrow that's over a dozen years old. I was trying to decide if I wanted to scrap it and buy a new one or try to fix it up. Well, with some left over paint from my Willys' restoration, a can of spray on bed liner and a new tire, I don't think it came out half bad.

Not to take anything away from our Wrangler Forum, but have you checked out the G503 forum? Nothing but restored military vehicles there.

Tell you what, I'll try to swing by outside the gate this weekend and get a pic next to the "Air Force Plant 44" sign (ya, google it and you can figure out where I work).
Check out some of the threads in the Military Pic Forum. Lots of cool military looking TJs there.
