koz555 is it ok to throw ome shocks in the back and leave my rancho's in front?? cause the rancho's look clean and solid??

koz555 how can i tell if my coils are stock or after mark? could i run the ranch rs 5000 shocks in front and OME shocks in back?

distortedtj Rancho's are ok..a little stiff but ok.

Any brand shock will work. Just has to be the right size for the vehicle. You state you have a 4'' body lift...so if your suspension is stock...get shocks for a stock tj.

A body lift has NOTHING to do with the suspension.

Also...if you could humor me...Pictures of the "4 inch" body lift please. I'm curious at how they did it. (To my knoledge there is no and has never been a production 4'' bl for a TJ).

Leaving it to either be homemade or stacked pucks.

koz555 will the ome fit on a 4 in body lift?

koz555 i have rancho rs5000 shocks on the front with what looks like a rancho rs 5000 stabolizer shock in the front also. i bought the jeep with them on there. are these decent shocks and how can i tell if i need to replace them? as far as the rear i cant tell what kinda shocks are back there, i need shocks for high way driving as this is my daily driver. any advice would be appreciated.

distortedtj If you want a ok shock with a descent ride...Skyjacker Hydro shock....$36 a piece.

Great shock...OME "old man emu"... about $80 a piece.
