Rawkon if cost is a huge issue dont do it. 33s arnt cheap, and not setting a suspension correctly will just cost you mo money in the long run . save up and do it right. Jerry's suggestions are spot on if you MUST do it.

danieldlg_13 Well here are my questions. I have a 2" BB and flat fender flares. My tire size is 305/70/R16... which is equivalent to...? And can I fit 33s? Just by looking at the spacing above the tire my guesstimate would be that I could.

It sounds odd that 4" is recommended for offroading with 33" tires but it's true that 32" tires can be run with only a 2" suspension lift as the OP has.

For 33" tires for street use, adding a 1" body lift is enough. But as suggested above, 4" is strongly recommended for 33" tires.

To the OP, was that 2" achieved with new coil springs? If so, you could run 33" tires by installing a 1" spacer on top of the springs and a 1" body lift. But is your gearing up to that size tire? 3.07 gearing and 33" tires would really suck.

Also, 3" of suspension lift will create vibrations. You'll at least need a 1" t-case skidplate drop and if that doesn't quite get rid of all the vibes, a set of 1" taller motor mounts will likely get rid of any remaining vibes. Know too that you can't just live with drivetrain vibrations as eventually the vibes start damaging u-joints, seals, and/or bearings.

PT4WDL Trim the flares and fenders to make flatties. Then add a 1" coil spacer. If you don't mind cutting.lol

4Jeepn To run them your going to need 3-4" of lift with being close to 4" better.

Few things you can do:

1. Small body lift stay,under 2", fairly cheap and a few hours of your time. Leaves a gap between body and frame,
2. 1" coil spacer and 1" body lift might be the better way, but then you might need to get into adj trac bars if you don't already have them etc. Lot more work with this as you need to remove the springs etc.

3. Buy a new lift kit and get the correct stuff.

I could use some help.

I have a 2002 Wrangler that has a 2" BDS Suspension lift on it. It has 31" tires and I'm really wanting to go to 33's. What do you guys suggest I do with cost being huge. I'm not wanting to spend too much. Thanks for the help.
