Ok first, who told you that was a 4 inch body lift? They were high.
Looks to be a 2inch body lift and that is all. To tell for sure just measure the puck seen here....

|koz555||i know that if i change or take off the bl that i would have to change some stuff around correct?? i got some grade 5's holding me up but i wana go up to grade 8's. how much work would that be?? and would i have to change any gears or linkage..etc. if i go down to 2in??? also what about some ome shocks? would they give me a smoother or straighter drive.. im kinda all over the road right now.thanks for any advice|

|Bignuke||Good lookin' Jeep. I would suggest get rid of the BL and get a cheap suspension life (Rough Country) if your low on pay... If not, go better. I'm not flaming or anything, just a suggestion. Have the same model/year.|

pics 98 sahara
okay since I'm not able to or i can't seem to find the upload photos button on my profile page, I'm posting pics on this thread. I bought a 1998 Sahara about 2 months ago and I have a few issues with it. I know I have a 4 inch (BL) but I don't know what kind. The rear (CA) and the rear shock on the passenger side is broken. Can someone see what I have and explain it to me? I'm a newbie here and I would rather do things myself instead of taking my Jeep in. From the looks of my pics can I put some (ome) shocks in the rear that would fit, and what size? Also, how do I replace (CA)? Thanks, I would appreciate any info.
