PT4WDL I have a RC 6" lift on my jeep. It works as well as it says it does. It is two years old and has not failed me yet. I wish that they had the new johnny joint style ends on their arms back then. I think you will be pleasantly pleased with the RC kit. RE is a good company too. But I feel you are paying for the name.

Adamlee78 RE is good, Rough Country is also and it is made in Tennessee!

terrible2 if youre going to do some off roading, save up and get quality items. I used to be a big chinese buyer before I started to off road, but now I save up and shell out the money or buy stuff thats good quality but used.

Im not going to talking about RC one way or the other, but I do know RE is a good company.

Adamlee78 I have a Rough Country 2.5 and I am getting ready to remove and step up to the 4. the new ones are a lot better. They have an awesome Research and Development dept. that has taken care of the issues!

G-Pur From what I've read, the newer Rough Country lifts are better quality then the old ones, and both are better then the Skyjacker. If you save up just a bit more, you can get yourself a 3.5" Rubicon Express Standard lift. RE makes quality product, and they typically sit a little higher than their advertised height, so it's really between 3.75-4" of lift. If you go with the RE lift, opt for the Monotube shocks, not the twin tube. It's a better on road ride.

4" lift

First Off, Thanx to everyone for your answers on my 4WD light question. Aside from that I'm lookin for a good lift kit, I'm considering getting the Rough Country 4" but I've heard good and bad things about it from many different sources. The price is obviously right but if the thing is truly garbage I'll just save up and buy a Skyjacker or something else higher end. Any suggestions?

p.s. i read the review on the lift review forum, but i've also read a ton of user reviews praising and cursing it aside from that one.
