At least thats what Ive seen from all the times I went...they all been the end of the month.
Works great for me also.

KBR97 I like the end of the month trips...so last weekend in april may be a go for me. As long as me and the girlie can get some things done and keep the weekend open we'll be there. Cant wait to scare the crap out of her on the comp course, lol.

Barrie How about 4/23-4/25? That would work for me.

come on up. i am sure there will be an extra seat in someones jeep. i'd offer you a seat in my cj, but bess725 is my dedicated co-pilot, and i only have 2 seats.

Bess725 yeah i went hiking when it just started snowing the wk b4.. (in dec) hiked delaware water gap.. then met 3 bears on the way down. oo and it was dark when i was comin back down lol
02-22-2010 12:30 PM
schnutzy doesnt need to be warm to camp. if you have a fire, then cold weather camping is fun to. hiking with a little bit if snow on the ground is nice to. it softens your footsteps so after a long hike your fet wont hurt as much
02-22-2010 12:28 PM
Barrie Will do thanks.

Bess, do you figure it's going to be cold there in late March?

yeah, i guess im kinda lucky, ive got an LL Bean 5 minutes away. now that i think about it. there are alot of camping and outdoors stores within 20 minutes of me. hmmmm, thats kinda odd since the closest places to go camping are all like an hour away.

schnutzy and yes, i second ordering online. that would probably be alot cheaper then driving there.
02-22-2010 12:14 PM
schnutzy ive spent a lot of money on some very nice camping gear. and i figure if any of it dos go south, since about 99% of it is all from LL Bean, i wont go completely broke replacing things
that and LL Bean does have some pretty good stuff
