All the rust is in the first 2" of any given panel. I'd like to get something for the front of the hood and front edge of front fenders. Those are the areas that I haven't been able to find anything. I have a little in the rockers, and back corners but I've seen plenty of covers for those.
Thanks for all the help!

|wrangler1993||i have seen body armor for the rear quarter panels, and for the front edge of the fender, the only thing is the gas hole, most of the armor i have seen has the hole on the side of the truck, not behind the plate or else i would have gotten them by now|

|jeepers92||It depends on where you are wanting to put it. they make several diffrent aftermarket parts, where exactly on the fenders and hood is the rust located?|

93 YJ Body Armor
So I'm new to the jeep thing. Just picked up a '93 YJ, w/ 4.0L HO, 4" lift, and 33's.
My questions is... it has a bit of rust starting to poke through around the fender edges, hood edges, ect. I can knock off the rust, but I'm not a body guy so painting is out of my realm, but I don't want a show rig anyway, so a body shop is not in the question. I've seen "body armor" but not for YJ's. I think if I could knock of the rust and cover it with some inhibitor, then add the armor it would look slick and not get into the pocket book that bad.
Has anybody added anything like this? Do you know who makes it? Will armor from other models (TJ, CJ) fit on mine? Thanks for the help.
