|debruins||sounds like an alright plan to me, no need for a motor mount lift unless u are really worried about losing half an inch of clearance if u have to drop ur transfer case a little bit|

You may end up with rear driveshaft vibes by going up to three inches in the rear, it just depends and seems to vary with every jeep. The motor mount lift would also help to prevent rear driveline vibes. Lifting the front of the engine angles the rear transfer case down and helps keep your driveline in correct geometry. If you dont have vibes now, i would do the upgrades and see if you get them. If you do, the easiest thing to do is to lower your transfer skid by adding washers between the skid and frame. Add one or two all around and then test drive, and repeat until the vibes are gone. And then adjust your fan shroud for the body lift
As for everything else i dont see any problems, except the rear shocks may be too short afterwards, the fronts should be alright if you have already replaced them for the current setup
as for the tires, i have no input, never ran dick cepek

|JeepnJim||If you don't use the motor mount lift you need to lower your fan shroud or the fan will hit it. I lowered my fan shroud instead of raising the engine.|

I had today off and got to thinking about the jeep (always dangerous). Anyway, I know that I want to upgrade to 33x12.5 tires on the jeep and a little more lift (still needs to fit in the garage). I will not be going larger than 33" tires as I have the Dane 30/35 axles. I currently have a 2" susp lift with added 1" spacers in the front. I was initially looking to go all the way up to a 4" susp lift, but Im now thinking about doing 3" susp and a JKS 1.25" body lift.
Now a couple of questions about this.....
Since I have the 3" of lift in the front, going from 2" springs with 1" spacer to 3" springs shouldnt be a problem, correct?
In the back, I currently have 2" springs, will going to 3" springs (just springs, not a whole 3" kit) cause any problems?
On the body lift, Quadratec recommended the 1" motor mount as well, is this a good idea, or just them trying to make more money?
Im looking at the Dick Cepek Crusher 33x12.5 tires as I like the looks and have read very good reviews about them, additionally they fit on my current wheels. Anyone running these and if so what do you think?
